Construction of Rural Health Sub-Centres — Phase III

Project Description

Under the National Health Mission, the state unit invites bids for construction of 16 Rural Health Sub-Centre (HSC) buildings in tribal and remote areas of Vidarbha region, equipped with solar power, rainwater harvesting, and bio-medical waste facilities.

Building Specifications

• Floor area: 200–300 sq.m per building (G+1 structure)
• RCC frame construction with earthquake-resistant design (Zone III)
• Solar PV system: 3 kWp per HSC with battery backup
• Rainwater harvesting tank: 10,000 litre capacity
• Bio-medical waste treatment unit at each site

Bidder Qualifications

• PWD empanelled Class-I civil contractor
• Completed similar healthcare construction: minimum 3 projects worth ₹1 Cr each
• Current commitments: ≤75% of annual capacity
• Valid EPFO and ESIC registration
• EMD: ₹64,000 (BG only)

Project Timeline

• Completion target: 18 months from LOI
• Milestone-based payment: 10/20/30/30/10% schedule
• Liquidated damages: 0.5% per week, max 10% of contract value
